What do I know about architecture? Very little indeed, but as a child I would build things out of wooden blocks. It’s amazing the geometric complexity and beautiful of things you can assemble with simple shapes. In fact I developed a
computer program which does precisely this. Now this brings me to the
Cornerstone Arts Center being constructed outside my office window. In looking at the design, I’m reminded of my frustrations with block building as a child. Blocks are rigid things with their square angles. I would always struggle with “it looks like a jumble of blocks” instead of whatever I had in mind. Here the architect
